Design Services:

For Jake and His Shame Armour, I was brought on as the illustrator to help turn an emotional, child-focused story into something visually comforting and engaging. I developed a soft, expressive art style using warm gradients, textured shading and rounded character shapes to keep the themes of shame, courage and emotional resilience approachable for young readers. From the cover artwork to the guidebook visuals, every element was designed to feel safe, gentle and empowering — giving children a character they can connect with while supporting the book’s therapeutic message. This project allowed me to blend storytelling with emotional design, creating illustrations that are both meaningful and visually inviting.
