Project Description

For George & Maud’s Trail — a fun, interactive historical walking trail through Carlisle city centre. I was responsible for the complete visual and promotional package across both digital and physical media. The project required design, development, and production that helped bring the trail to life for families and visitors exploring history in a playful way.

What I delivered:

  • Trail Map Design — I created the detailed, easy‑to‑follow custom map used both on the website and in printed leaflets, guiding explorers to each of the historical stops and riddles along the trail.

  • Website Design & Build — Designed and developed the project website that hosts the interactive map and key trail information, making it simple for visitors to plan their adventure and access trail content online. George & Maud’s Trail

  • Large Format Advertising — Produced all large‑format printed advertising for the city, including banners and promotional graphics to raise awareness and encourage participation throughout Carlisle.

  • Display Boxes & Trail Signage — Designed and produced all printed materials required for the physical trail experience, such as display box printing, informational signage, and wayfinding elements.

  • 🪟 Window Stickers & Local Promotion — Created a set of branded window stickers and local promotional prints to be displayed by participating venues, helping to unify the trail’s visual identity across the city.

This project brought together strong visual branding, clear user‑centred design, and high‑quality printed assets, helping the trail stand out as an engaging cultural experience for all ages.
