My Mam Is The Best is a sweet and playful children’s book celebrating all the little things that make Mam the best, from cuddles and jokes to answering endless questions and looking after you, even when she’s tired (which, apparently, is all of the time).

I worked on bringing the book together visually, creating a bright, warm and whimsical feel throughout. Soft pastel colours, playful typography and character-led illustrations help tell the story, with lots of little details woven into each page to make the book feel personal and full of character.

The finished design carries the same visual style from the colourful floral cover through to the interior spreads and final author page, creating a cohesive little keepsake that feels fun, heartfelt and made to be treasured. The book was written by Ally Camm, with a little help from Dad, as a reminder to his mam of all the cuddles, laughs, late nights and everything in-between.
